Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Valera Laveda Philbrick of Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 97, on October 30, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lofquest and Lottie Lofquest; her husband Dwayne Philbrick; her siblings, Bud and Alma; and her son Daniel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laveda McDonald (Tim) and Diane Carkhuff; and her grandchildren, Benn, Laraine and Troy. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the O'Neill Methodist Church (404 W Cedar St, O'Neill, NE 68763). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the O'Neill Cemetery.
