It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth L. Lorenzen of Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gotthilf Jaeger and Elta Jaeger (Herbolsheimer); her in-laws, Harry, Sr. and Doris; her brother George; and her siblings-in-law, Janice Jaeger, Jim Melcher, Skip Haskett and Gene Jorgensen.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Lorenzen of Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church; and her siblings, Jeanette Vahle (Bob), Mary Burtwistle (Sam), Carol Jorgensen, Ernie Jaeger (Dianne) and Dale Jaeger (Ruthie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Home For Funerals Chapel (708 Georgia Ave, Norfolk, NE 68701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
