It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth A. Bichlmeier of Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth A. Bichlmeier to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Dalton and Carrie Dalton (Holbrook); her husband Joe; her son-in-law Landon Hansen; and her great grandchild Niall Hansen.
She is survived by: her children, Kerijo Hansen (Lynne) of Stanton, R. J., Paul Bichlmeier (Connie) of Norfolk and Mari Abler (Mike) of Norfolk; and her sister Jacque Dughman (Joy) of Lincoln. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren.
Ruth truly valued education so much she donated her body to the Nebraska Anatomical Board for medical education to earn her "last degree.".
