He was predeceased by: his parents, Volmer Galitz and Nellie Galitz (Schuler); his wife Norma Jean; and his siblings, Betty, Gene, Bill and Richard.
He is survived by: his former wife Ruth Klein; his grandchildren, Sarah, Joseph and Noah Ternes (Tia); his daughter Katherine Lewis (Mark) of Toledo, OH; his grandchild Josiah Lewis; his close friends, Charles and Lori Frohberg; his sister Bonnie Stevenson; and also, Grayson Frohberg and Alexandra Thomas.
