He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Shirley" Allison and Ann Allison (Schroeder); his wife Phillis Jean Rabe (Milton Ellwood); and his siblings, John Allison, Chuck Allison (Hazel), Richard "Dick" Allison (Millie), Mary Forsyth (Delbert) and Shirley Baker (Randall).
He is survived by: his children, Reba Middleton (Monte) of Norfolk, Jennifer Huisenga (Troy) of Spencer, IA, Elizabeth Briardy (Mike Gregory) of Blair and John Allison (Elvira) of Corpus Christi, TX; his sister Betty Allison; and his sister-in-law Irene Allison. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; six great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (416 W Park Ave, Norfolk, NE 68701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are requested to the Orphan Grain Train.
