He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; his father Norman, Sr.; and his uncle Harry Brant. He is survived by: his mother Deloras Gash of Houston; and his children, Danielle Farquhar (Jason) of Monongahela, PA, Joe Culhane (Marisa) of Omaha, Christian Rae (Kayla) of Carroll, Brendan Hilfers (Veronika) and Leanne Downes-Layton (Robert) of Norfolk. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters, and nieces and nephews.
