He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eberhardt and Sadie Eberhardt (Weyrich); his daughter Vickey Nadene Eberhardt; his sisters, Ruth McQuitty and Lucille Eberhardt; and his brothers-in-law, Norris Odey and Donald McQuitty Sr..
He is survived by: his former wife Viola Harris; his sons, Rick (Verna), Randy Eberhardt of Norfolk and Rodney Eberhardt of Humphrey; his sister Ilene Odey of St. Louis, Missouri; his grandchildren, Traci, Crystal, Sadie, Ty, Jonathan, Jordan, Zachary and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Kurtis, Kolby, Kyler, Logen, Kassidy, Ariyana, Charity, Carson, Dathen, Skye, Walker, Emory and Harley; his nephew Donald McQuitty (Sandy); and his nieces, Debb Kroeger, Kathy Larkin (Craig) and Karen Odey (Brenden). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be designated to the Wounded Warrior Project.
