It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lyla Fay Fuhrman of Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on March 26, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lyle Marotz and Marcella Marotz; her grandparents, Augusta and William Wollschlager; her children, Stephanie Krijan (George) of Omaha, Shawn Fuhrman (Leigh) of Norfolk, Melanie Frohberg (Jeff) of Lincoln and Tiffanie Pusateri (Jeff) of Omaha; her brothers, Lane Marotz of Norfolk and Loy Marotz of The Villages, Florida; her husband Verne Fuhrman; her great grandchild Lucas Bertwell; and her brother Lon Marotz. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She has donated dozens of quilts to the Orphan Grain Train.
