He was predeceased by: his brother Patrick James Huey; and his niece Ravona Colleen Mason. He is survived by: his mother Carmela Huey; his sister Linda; his brother-in-law Gordy Baumann; and his sister Gretchen Huey Scott.
He volunteered wherever there was a need, creating the charity Little Hearts, Healthy Dreams to benefit Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
