He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Deitloff and Mary Deitloff (Hellmers); his stepfather Ervin Ave; his siblings, Norbert, Ervin, Esther Brown and LaVetta Kesting; his son-in-law Stan Herrick; and his grandchildren, Michael Schmidt and LaTonya Benson.
He is survived by: his wife Alvina Riedel of Pierce; his sister Lou Jean Ferris (Ron) of Austin, TX; and his children, Lonnie Deitloff (Gera) of Norfolk, Bonnie Herrick of Wisner, Connie Donner (Keith) of Madison, Vonnie Benson (Tony) of Cheyenne, WY, Karla Jarvis (Jeff) of Toney, AL, Kristy Schmidt (Joe) of Macy and Marcia Kinning (Ken) of Ceresco. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
