It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Michael Potthast of Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bob, Joyce Potthast, Merle and Velva Frank; his great-grandparents, Mary Nye and Marjorie Ballinger; and his sister Sara Jayne.
He is survived by: his parents, Mike Potthast of Norfolk and Tami Potthast (Frank) of Norfolk; his wife Trisha Bayne; his daughters, Ali and Kinley Potthast; his brothers, Matt (Ally) of Seneca and Cody (Sara) of Lincoln, Nebraska; his former wife Trisha Benedict of Norfolk; and his nieces and nephews, Gianna, Mila, Nadya, Ruby, McCartney, Kaydence and Sawyer. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends.
