He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Bair and Violet Bair (Ducker); his wife Shirley Bair; his son Donald Bair; and his siblings, Norman Bair, Stanley Bair, Patty Bair and Elaine Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn "DeeDee" Mercier of Norfolk, Robin Bair (Francis) of Wagner, SD, Robert "Bobby" Bair (JoAnn) of Humphrey, Mawana Kitto of Norfolk, Tina Villapando (Alex) of Norfolk, James Weyrich of Norfolk and David Kitto (Jennifer) of Omaha. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nebraska Building (1800 Syracuse Ave, Norfolk, NE 68701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
