It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene E. Preister of Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Darlene Elizabeth Preister; her children, Scott Preister and Kim Machacek; her siblings, Clement, Deloris, Estelle, Laverna and Laura; and her close friend Don Luedert.

She is survived by: her children, Dan Preister (Lori), Suzie Leffers and Gary Preister (Mary Jo); and her brothers, Ralph, Bob and Norm Wemhoff. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
