We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2022, at the age of 92, Carmela V. Huey of Norfolk, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Filadelpho Vacanti and Maria Vacanti (Conti); her sisters, Constance (Gerald Arkfeld), Rose Marie (Ernest Endsworth) and Phyllis (Earl Chase); her sons, Patrick James Huey and Kevin Glenn Huey; and her granddaughter Ravona Colleen Mason.

She is survived by: her former spouse Lee A Huey; her daughter Linda; her children-in-law, Gordy Baumann of Norfolk and Cindy Huey of Minnesota; her stepdaughter Gretchen; and her son-in-law Peter Scott (Huey) of Canada. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Memorials will be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Carmela.
