He is survived by: his children, Natalie Torrez (Curtis), Ryan Red Owl of Santee, Donald Red Owl and Vernon Red Owl of Sisseton; his grandchildren, Jonnathan Red Owl, Morgan Torrez, Nunpa Torrez, Christian Torrez, Catalayah Red Owl, Mahpiya Red Owl, Keshon Bear Comes Out, Johnathan, Evonna, DaVone, Julissa, Mitchell and Brayden; his great grandchildren, Kayden and Olivia; and his siblings, Emily "Amy" Kaskaske (Danny) of Jones, Diane LaPointe (Don) of Santee, JoAnne Gilpin of Santee and Danny Red Owl (Roxanne) of Santee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
