He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Pischel and Regina Pischel (Mulhair); and his son-in-law Richy Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, Rob Daniel and Alan David; his wife Mary Marjean; his daughter Gina Johnson of Niobrara; his grandchildren, Kayla Thiele (Brandon) of Wynot, David, Jacob Johnson of Niobrara, Amanda, Ashley Pischel of O'Neill and Clint Pischel (Rebecca) of Verdel; his great grandchildren, Brock, Lauryn, Brody Thiele of Wynot and Peyton Pischel of Verdel; and his brothers, Kennard (Cathy) of Lincoln and Reginold (Janice) of Ainsworth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

Bob died Friday, January 10, 2020, at Avera Creighton Hospital in Creighton, Nebraska after a long struggle with Parkinson's.
