He is survived by: his wife Karen Potmesil-Etling; his children, Mark Etling (Betty) of Newman Grove, NE, Suzanne Bader (Kevin) of Columbus, NE and Kathryn Backhaus (Bruce) of Newman Grove, NE; and his siblings, Joan Tanner (John) and Don Jacobson (Jeannie) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by nieces, great-nieces and nephews; grandchildren; great-grandchild; and many relatives and friends.
