She was predeceased by: her parents, Levin Stewart and Juanita Stewart (Martinez); her son Raven Slayden; her husbands, William Bassett and James Henry; her stepson Michael Henry; and her daughter-in-law Bonnie Henry.
She is survived by: her children, Claude Bassett (Leslie) of Elgin, TX and Cindy Bassett (Joel Glaser) of Greeley, NE; her stepchildren, Patric Henry (Renee) of California and Mary Betreis of California; and her stepdaughter-in-law Sharron Henry of California. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; more than 30 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
