We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2020, at the age of 97, Kathleen Ann Hallgren of Newman Grove, Nebraska, born in Witten, South Dakota passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schroeder and Matilda Schroeder (Zimmerer); her husband Glenn D. Hallgren; her siblings, Delores Douglas (Jack), Eileen McCarthy (Gerald), Ruth Duhachek (Delbert), Darlene Gifford (Jack) and Donald Schroeder (Mac); and her great grandchild Hunter Hallgren.

She is survived by: her children, DeAnn Nelson (Leon) of Newman Grove, Dean Hallgren (Paula) of Gretna, Kenneth Hallgren of Winside and Keith Hallgren (Carol) of Newman Grove; her grandchildren, Cory Nelson (Beth) of Newman Grove, Ross Nelson (Amy) of Newman Grove, Kelli Molczyk (Wes) of Kearney, Christopher Hallgren (Abbie) of Gretna, Andrea Hallgren (Jake Fierro) of Elkhorn, Sean Hallgren (Rebecca), Abbie Oberhauser (Douglas) of Seward and Aaron Hallgren (Lindsey) of Wayne; her children, Kylen, Harper and Cohen; her great grandchildren, Alyshia Samuelson (Drew), Brooke Vincent (Ben), Megan (Jonathan Guenther), Payton, Paige, Mason, Riley Nelson, Alex, Mya, Hudson, Lauren, Brayden Hallgren, Eastyn, Kendal, Evett, Kyler Oberhauser, Alyse, Aiden and Ethan Molczyk; and her brother David Schroeder (Sharon) of Fremont. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Social distancing and Covid-19 DHM's will be followed at both the visitation and funeral.
