It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Ilene Tift of Newman Grove, Nebraska, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Johnson and V. Loretta Johnson (Walton); her husband Robert B. Tift; her son-in-law Kenneth Cleland; her brother-in-law Dick Altwine; and her nephew Rodney Wintz.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Tift of Illinois, Karen Cleland of Lodi, CA, Greg Tift of Newman Grove, NE, Gail Tift of Texas and Cindy Geilenkirchen of Creston, NE; her siblings, Linda Altwine of Billings, MT and Harlan Johnson (Peggy) of Ellisville, MO; and her sister-in-law Joyce McManigal of Stanton, NE. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Covid-19 DHM's will be followed and masks are requested at both the visitation and graveside service.
