Gloria Elizabeth Boschen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Elizabeth Boschen of Newman Grove, Nebraska, born in Tilden, Nebraska, who passed away on October 30, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Kohl and Alma Kohl (Peterson); her husband Dennis W. Boschen; her mother-in-law Emelene Boschen (Duhachek); her brother-in-law Glen Boschen; and her great grandchild Nick Kroeger.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Boschen (Barb) of Newman Grove, NE, George Boschen of Gothenburg, NE and Kristin Stock (Ronald) of Columbus, NE; her grandchildren, Jessica Kroeger (Mike), Sheldon Boschen (Ashley), Seth Boschen (Kathryn), Alicia Knust (Andrew) and Cassidy Boschen; her great grandchildren, Emma, Daniel, Elkin Knust, Oliva, Isabella, Aaron, Aurora, Silas Boschen and Nate Kroeger; and her siblings-in-law, Steve Boschen (Nancy) of Broken Bow, NE and LaRue Shup of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (804 Hale Ave, Newman Grove, NE 68758). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In 2002, Gloria was presented with the Pioneer Farm Award for 100 years of continued family farm ownership by the AK-SAR-BEN Foundation and the Nebraska Farm Bureau.
