It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Menke of Nelson, Nebraska, born in Superior, Nebraska, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Menke and Dolores Menke (Schroer); and his wife Donna Hesman. He is survived by: his children, Tami Towne (Tom) of Grand Island, Twila Knehans of Hastings, Todd Menke (Cori) of Creedmoor and Tyson Menke (Melanie) of Fraser, Colorado; his siblings, Mel Menke (Marie) of Superior, Janet Reinsch of Geneva and Linda Menke of Lincoln; and his half-brothers, Ron Drudik (Janet) of Hastings and Arlan Drudik (Sally) of Nelson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
