She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Lee Barfknecht; her parents, Henry and Dora; and her siblings-in-law, William, Bernice Barfknecht, Robert Johnson, Ardell Sieck, Everett Barfknecht and Lorene Meyer.
She is survived by: her sons, Craig of Harvard and Lee (Sara Martens) of LaVista; her granddaughter Alaina Martens (Matt Catagnus) of Quincy, MA.; her sisters, Ruby "Tam" of Oceanside, California, Frances "Fran" Sieck of Ashland and Dorothy Svendsen (Ed) of Lincoln; and her sister-in-law Norma Iburg (Don) of Austin, Texas.
