He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Carstensen of Tilden; his children, Kurt Rakow of Neligh, Theresa Knust (Gene) of Petersburg, Becky Calvillo (Michael) of St. Charles, MO and Tom Rakow (Tammy) of Pleasant Dale, NE.; his grandchildren, Brent Knust (Ashley), Brittni Sprouls, Aaron Knust (Emily), Kalie Sprouls, Skyler Knust (Sarah), Kyle Rakow (Ashton), Brook Vasquez (Danny), Dylan Rakow, Micah Sprouls, Devin Knust, Jamie Rakow, Orlando Rakow, Adan Rakow, Liliana Rakow, Sylus Rakow and Catalaya Rakow; and his great grandchildren, Brecken Knust, Brenleigh Rakow, Gavin Knust and Enzo Vasquez.
