He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mortensen and Margaret Mortensen (Madsen); his former wife Marlene Mortensen; his daughter Katherine Mortensen; his grandson Jason Mortensen; his great grandchild Tripp Svoboda; and his siblings, Dennis Mortensen and Delreen Bills.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Mortensen (Danielle), Julie Kochan (Mike), Lance Mortensen (Stephanie), Steve Mortensen (Amy), Margie Mortensen and Angie Mortensen; his sisters, Janice Clausen, Marcia Storjohann and Teresa Schroeder; and his fiancée Judy Cole. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
