It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Sidney Larabee (Neligh, Nebraska), born in Ainsworth, Nebraska, who passed away on February 24, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Louise Larabee (Behrens) and Sidney Larabee; and his sister Marie Rose. He is survived by: his spouse Lorideen May Bejot; his sons, Randolph (Randy), Michael (Mike), Phillip (Phil), Randy Larabee (Beth) of Ames, IA, Mike Larabee (Lynne) of Eau Claire, WI and Phil Larabee (Laura) of Monticello, IA.; his grandchildren, Maggie Draper (Zach) of Roseville, CA, Laura Bradner (Matt) of Ames, IA, Jacob Larabee of Sussex, WI, Alberto Larabee of Eau Claire, WI, Eva Larabee of Monticello, IA and Rachel Larabee of Monticello, IA.; and his brothers, Marvin Larabee (Joe Anne) of Valentine, NE and Louis Larabee (Shirley) of Ainsworth, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was a 50 year member of Neligh Chamber of Commerce and served on the Neligh Public Library Foundation for many years.
