She was predeceased by: her parents, Holga Fallesen and Hazel Fallesen (Riley); her husband Gordon Hughes; and her siblings, Melvin Fallesen, Norman Fallesen and Darlene Basel.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Hughes (Jean) of Lincoln, NE, Dawn Zieg (Jim) of Lincoln, NE, Kathy Jisa (Ken) of Lincoln, NE, Cheryl Powers (Vern) of Bennington, NE and Lori Meisgeier (Nathan) of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Neligh Senior Center or the Neligh Cemetery Association.
