She is survived by: her husband Charles Bennett; her children, Robert "Bob", Bev Bennett of Neligh, Kathy Heckert of Neligh and Stanley Bennett of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Stephanie Becker (Gary) of Omaha, Kari Guthrie of Lincoln, Jami Utter (OJ) of Florida, Melissa Smith (Craig) of Neligh, Dr. Wende Heckert of Norfolk, Cory Bennett (Cedrela) of Neligh, Cody Bennett (Carrie) of Colorado and Craig Heckert (Lia) of Neligh; her children-in-law, Ralph W. Heckert and Linda Bennett; her parents-in-law, Charley and Ruth Bennett; her siblings, Avalt Sanne (Lorraine), Adolph Sanne (Carolyn), Harold Sanne (Lettie), Adelle Ziems (Henry), Helen Menebroker (Walter) and Evelyn Lange (Walter); and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Tinsley (Jim), Lena Miller (Lyle), Gladys Bennett (Leonard) and Darlene Dietz (Bud).
Being able to supply fresh turkeys for the holidays was her contribution to the community she so dearly loved.
