The memory of Laura Mae Spieker of Neligh, Nebraska, who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sehi and Hilda Sehi (Welding); her husband Robert Spieker of John's Catholic Church; and her daughter Annette. She is survived by: her siblings, Dave Sehi (Marilyn) of Clearwater, NE and Wilma Schaecher of Norfolk, NE; her aunt Arlene Welding of Greenfield, WI.; her sister Shirley Henkenius; her sons-in-law, Mark Risinger and Paul Eischeid; her grandson Joseph Sullivan; her grandson-in-law Andrew Lingenfelter; and also, Carol Anderson of Neligh, Karen Eischeid of Elgin, James Spieker (Renee) of Madison, NE, Jannelle Risinger of Spring Valley, OH, Vera Sullivan (Mark) of Columbus, NE, Cary Spieker (Kim) of Norfolk, NE, Lynette Faltin (Gary) of Dodge, NE, Roberta "Bobbi" Kennedy of Elgin, NE, Connie Snyder (Brad) of Holstein, IA and Terri Spieker of McKinney, TX.. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (702 W 11th St, Neligh, NE 68756). A wake will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Beyer Snider Memorial (602 M St, Neligh, NE 68756). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (702 W 11th St, Neligh, NE 68756).
