He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Maughan and Ethel Maughan (Northrup); his siblings, Leo Dean Maughan, Agnes Meyer, Dave Maughan and Mike Maughan; and his son Philip Maughan.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra of Neligh, Nebraska; his children, Ginger Maughan of Columbus, James Maughan (Reanne) of Oakdale and Kenneth Maughan (Katy) of Orchard, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Joseph Gomez, Jonathon Gomez, Jasmine Maughan, Joshua Maughan, Zach Tabor and Chayton Falkner; and his siblings, Patricia Coover of Norfolk, Nebraska and Jerry Maughan of Tilden. He is also survived by two great-grandsons; two step-grandsons.
