With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dwaine J. Peetz M. D. Sr. (Neligh, Nebraska), who passed away on March 6, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Michael Peetz (Joni); his grandson Jesse Peetz; his parents, Frank Peetz and Bertha Peetz; his siblings, Burgett Peetz and Gloria; his brothers-in-law, Eugene Bonkewicz, LaVern Thomas and Harold Glanz; and his former wife Mildred Bauman.
He is survived by: his wife Carmen Kreivenas; his children, Susan Ames (Delbert), Dwaine Peetz Jr. (Cathy), Forrest "Frosty" Peetz (Melanie), Thomas Peetz (Carolyn), Mary Candace Pelster, Kristi Zimmer (Gerald), Stephanie Scott (David) and Katie Thiele (Mike); his sisters, Rose Thomas and Elaine Glanz; and his sister-in-law Betty Peetz. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren.
Per Dwaine's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Elgin Pope John XXIII Central Catholic High School or to St. Francis Catholic Church in Neligh, Nebraska.
