With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valeria Anna Safarik of Nehawka, Nebraska, born in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, who passed away on January 28, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Holman and Valeria Holman (Stull); her siblings, Lester H. Holman, Jr. (Jack), Leon Holman, Ruby Holman, Ruth Royer and Edward; and her sister-in-law Doris Safarik.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Lynn Schliefert (Guy) of Louisville, Jeanene Schreiter (Kurt) of Dunbar, Jack Safarik of Nehawka and Chris Safarik of Beaver Lake; and her sisters, Harriett Holman of Plattsmouth, Irene Rupp of Plattsmouth, Viola Placzek (Jim) of Plattsmouth, Carol Janet Miner of Plattsmouth and Leola Ide of Plattsmouth. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
