He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Gansemer and Beulah Gansemer; his wife Janice Lea Switzer; his sisters, Barbara Gochenour, Patricia Swartz, Lavon Speck and Shirley Haswell; and his son-in-law Gary Sorensen.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Sorensen of Nebraska City, Donna Wipf (Rick) of Louisville, Debbie Fox (Richi) of Nehawka and Allen Gansemer (Jen) of Nehawka; his grandchildren, Joey Wipf (Sarah), Brook Fox (Karlie), Lane Fox, Ty Fox, Zane Gansemer, Kobe Gansemer (Sydney), Shelby Mason (Justin) and Ali Gansemer; and his great grandchildren, Hudson, Decker, Baylor, Emmy, Taytum and Ella. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
