With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Lee Brooke of Nebraska City, Nebraska, who passed away on August 5, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Brooke and Lena Brooke (Herbst); and his brother Gayle Brooke. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his grandchildren, Micah Schuch, Anna Villarreal, Gary Dryden III, Aaron Dryden, Jerod Francis, Kayla Francis, Parker Nagengast and Drew Nagengast; his brother Bob Brooke of Scottsdale, AZ; his daughter Jean Ealley of South Point, OH; and his nieces, Lori and Sue. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Veterans Memorial Building Renovation Project.
