Shirley Mead Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Mead of Nebraska City, Nebraska, who passed away on October 6, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Otmar Frank and Dorothy Claudine Lechner (Gibson); her son Bradley; her husband Tom Mead of Nebr; her sons, Bob Mead (Loretta) of Omaha, NE and Brad Mead (Susan) of Wayne, NE; her daughter-in-law Ann Marie Mead of Ft. Collins, CO; her brother Glen Lechner (Peggy) of Nebr; her sister-in-law Carol Lechner of Lincoln, NE; her son Thomas O. Mead; her grandson Bryan Mead; and her brother Garry Lechner.

Memorials may be given to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation or to the family.
