With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Elisabeth Asboe of Nebraska City, Nebraska, born in Syracuse, Nebraska, who passed away on October 14, 2021 at the age of 104. She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Eric B. Asboe; her parents, Frank DeLong and Evelyn DeLong (Friend); her siblings, Norma DeLong and C. Lynn DeLong; and her niece Nancy Hoch (Richard).
She is survived by: her son Eric B. Asboe II (Kathy) of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Emily of Lincoln, Eric (Kathryn Hargrave) of Chattanooga, TN, Bethany of Omaha and Alexander (Maritza) of Lincoln; her great grandchildren, Augustine, Micah, Gabriella and Elin; and her niece Martha Cady. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
