She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Ralph and Anna Scholastica Gottwald (Brandt); her husband Albert Louis "Shorty" Burger; her siblings, Alton Gottwald and Bernadine Fox (Harold); and her son-in-law Gary Bond.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Bond (Jim) of Wahoo, NE, Gail Bond (Richard) of Nebraska City and LeAnn Burger (Rick) of Weeping Water, NE; her grandchildren, Kurt Bond (Kari) of Longmont, CO, Lisa Jewell (Mike) of Syracuse, NE and Jeremy Bond (Kelly) of Gretna, NE; her great grandchildren, Katelyn of Longmont, CO, Kyle of Longmont, CO, Kaden Bond of Longmont, CO and Mckenzie Bond of Gretna, NE; and her sister-in-law Marcella Gottwald of Nebr.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gude Mortuary (403 S 9th St, Nebraska City, NE 68410). A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery Assn. or Nebr.
