He is survived by: his close friend Shirley Turner of Virginia; his sons, Roger William Smith of Temple, TX and Roderick James Smith of Tulsa, OK; his grandchildren, Lexi Smith and Brady Smith; his sister Glorianna Chaney (Roy) of Nebraska City; and his nephews, Gary Howell (Vivian) of Maryville, MO and David Howell (Kathy) of Maryville, MO. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
