She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Plumer and Bernice Plumer (Osler); her husband Chuck Smith; her daughters, Carla Schneider and Tonya Van Hee (Miles); her son-in-law Greg Schneider; her grandchildren, Annaliesa Schneider, Nolan Schneider, Curtis Schneider, Grant Schneider, Bryson Van Hee and Jared Van Hee; and her brothers, Phil Plumer, Bernard Plumer and Paul Plumer.

Nancy Anna (Plumer) Smith died on September 8, 2022 from ovarian cancer after battling Alzheimer's for the past 5 years.
