She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo R. Adams and Mary Jane Adams (Goodlow); her husband Luther D. Givehand; and her daughter Jane Louise Givehand-Glover. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Givehand (Julie) of Old Saybrook, CT and Luke Givehand of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Natalie Rowe (Gerald), Sephora Givehand, Mahlah Givehand, Jael Givehand and Tehra Givehand; and her great grandchild Brooklynn Rowe. She is also survived by many other friends and relatives.
Mary was a charter board member of the Nebraska City High School Alumni Foundation and was still an active board member at the time of her death. She was very dedicated to the Alumni Foundation and worked tirelessly on the scholarship committee.
