She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Barner and Lydia Barner; and her son Stephen Gerdes. She is survived by: her children, PollyAnn Warkentine (Lee), Cynthia Chandler (Richard), Sally Gerdes and Gene Gerdes (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Blaine (Brent Warkentine), Jason (Stuart Chandler), Kirsten Stoltz (Stacy Chamberlin) and Taylor Gerdes. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
