He is survived by: his wife Irene of Nebraska City; his children, Janis Hale (Alvin) of Shenandoah, IA and Dennis Rieken (Phyllis) of Dunbar; his granddaughters, Jacque Eden (Dave), Jennifer Wu (Rich), April Hale and Kim Rieken (Steve Hankins); his great grandchildren, AJ, Lane Overbey, Cole Eden (Miranda), Domonick, Aidan Vetter and Devin Wu; his great great grandchildren, Hayden Overbey, Mayson and Caddmyn Eden; his sisters, Peg Thompson (Ray) of Beatrice, Lena Lotter of Beatrice, Francis Goings (Harley) of Tecumseh and Tina Green of Auburn; and his sister-in-law Vera Rieken. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
