It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennie Mae Mercer of Nebraska City, Nebraska, born in Kingston, Michigan, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair Brief and Orlena Brief (Nowland); and her siblings, Dearl Brief, Burl Brief, Mary Grom, Vera Lee Brief, Lucille Curry, Dale Brief, Dwayne Brief and Lloyd Brief.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Mercer of Nebraska City; her children, Mark Mercer (Chris) of Nebraska City and Jeanne Mercer-Ballard (John) of Zionville, NC; her grandchildren, Marcella, Maya Mercer, Jianni and Jiada Ballard; and her sisters, Maxine Hoover, Linda Wicher (Joseph) and Martha Moyer (Charles).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church in Nebraska City.
