It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Hines (Nebraska City, Nebraska), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Eugene and Shirley J. Hines (Brown); his brother Dan Lair; his brother-in-law Tom Mayberry; and his parents-in-law, Emil and Pat Mayberry.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Ann Mayberry; his children, Patrick Hines (Amy) of Ralston, NE, Christopher Hines (Heather) and Kelli Setzler of Omaha, NE; his grandsons, Brady Hines and Austyn Hines; and his brothers, Robert Hines of Hamburg, IA and Dennis Hines of Boise, ID. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Hamburg Rescue Squad.
