We bid farewell to Dorothy Lee Jones of Nebraska City, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 22, 2024 at the age of 87. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert LeRoy and Mary Ann Tuton (Whited); her spouse AJ Jones; her children, Robert Jones, Sr. (Sara) of Hopkins, MO and Jeanene Pummel; her grandson Michael Anthony Jones; and her siblings, LuAnna Vetter, Lucia Fulfer, LeRoy Tuton, Robert Tuton and Clifford Tuton.
She is survived by: her children, Gaille Brown of Union, NE, Dana Brink of Omaha, NE and Arley Eugene Jones (Buffie) of Beaver Lake, NE. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 17 great great-grandchildren; other family and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Gude Mortuary (403 S 9th St, Nebraska City, NE 68410). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Wyuka Cemetery.
