She is survived by: her children, Steven Abernathy of Nebraska City and Annette Pickering (Joe) of Beatrice; her grandchildren, Tish Roberts (Scott), Lisa Diedrichsen (Brian), Melissa Jasper (Aaron), Nathan Abernathy (Courtney), Suzanne Pickering, Tim McElroy, Brian Pickering (Rachel), Janelle Pickering and Lindsay Blood (Josh); her siblings-in-law, Bill Abernathy of Papillion and Ray Shepard of Arizona; and also, Cyndi Hahn of Nebraska City and LaVonda Abernathy of Papillion. She is also survived by special friends, all of the staff at Lancaster Manor; many other relatives and friends.
