He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lawson and Florence Ellen Walters (Sheard); his siblings, Charles, Robert, Ora Mae, Gerald, Leland, Jane Maybee, Stephen and Susie Reed; and his niece Betina Swartz.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Walters of Nebr; his sons, Shawn Walters (Meghan) of Lincoln, NE, Justin Walters of Syracuse, NE and Aaron Walters of Nebr; his siblings, Bill Walters (Kathryn) of Nebr, Patty Ried (Wayne) of Nebr and Barbara Johnson (Jerry) of Nebr; and his grandchildren, Lucas, Sadie and Charles. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church.
