With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Raymond Gowing in Nebraska City, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his wife Madelene Gowing (Johnson); and his children, Kathryn Judd and Christopher Gowing. He is survived by: his sons, Donald Gowing Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Timothy Gowing (Tara Kenan) of Beaver Lake, NE and Corey Gowing of Bellevue, NE; his son-in-law Paul Judd of Fairbury, NE; his grandchildren, Donald Gowing (Jennifer) of Atlanta, GA, Kimberly (Stuart), Arnold of Moreland, GA, Sarah (Nick), Sutton of Omaha, NE, Laura Judd of Newport News, VA, Lauren Gowing of Bellevue, NE and Paige Gowing of Bellevue, NE; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Emerson, Grace, Juliette and Ava.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bellevue Memorial Chapel (2202 Hancock St, Bellevue, NE 68005). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (2302 S Crawford St, Bellevue, NE 68005). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
