She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Russell and Effie Mae Hemphill (Turner); her husband Dwaine A. Ross; her sisters, Arlene Peacock and Sandra Leaton; her brother-in-law George; her granddaughter Kelsie Ross; and her nephew Derrick Leaton.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Ross of Lincoln, NE and Dawn Varner (Richard) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Kevin R. Ross, Jeremy Ross, Corey Ross, Amanda Nichols (Connor Korene), Aimee Nichols and Kendall Nichols; her great grandchildren, Dominick Ross, Emerson Brandenburg, Hadley Brandenburg, Ava Korene and Liam Korene; her brother-in-law Nelson Leaton of Brookfield, MO; and her nieces and nephews, Sheryl Berry, Tarra Foster, Scott Leaton and Kyle Leaton.
Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church in Nebraska City.
