Gates (Fernandes); his wife Dana Gates of Union, NE; his children, Kenna Prine (Matthew), Kari Allgood (David "Sam"), Kami Gates, Danny Gates, Kristopher Gates (Susann), Kaleo Gates (Traci), Kandyce Sharp (Jacob), Kati Gates, Darci Gates-Union and Kermit Gates (Jennifer); his brothers, Terry Gates (Gloria), Jack Gates (Cindy), Gene Gates and George "Bud" Gates; and his sister-in-law Sandy Gates. He was also cherished by 26 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
